Ira is a special soul who comes across much older and wiser than his 13 years, and the stars aligned perfectly for his bar mitzvah to happen exactly on his 13th birthday. The Shabbat morning ceremony took place at the historic Glazer Campus of Wilshire Blvd Temple, which is the oldest Jewish synagogue in Los Angeles. Modeled after the Pantheon in Rome, the massive Byzantine revival dome is 100 feet in diameter and rises 135 feet above street level. Murals depict key moments in Jewish history and measure 320 feet long and 7 feet high. The feeling of serenity is truly palpable in this beautiful sacred space. The evening party took place at the Terrace at L.A. LIVE and entertainment was provided by Real Genius Dj’s. They do an amazing job at getting everyone off their phones and onto the dance floor and have a team of party hosts, professional dj’s and interactive dancers that keep the party going all night long. Seriously the most fun ever! Congratulations and mazel tov Ira!
